The “ Pool Oracle” namely Martyn Hardy has over 35 years experience in the leisure industry.

I have had 25+ years of working for local authorities in Wales many of which were in Senior Management positions. For 8 years I had the most enjoyable time ever working in the private sector for Water Babies Ltd the largest provider of baby swimming lessons in the world teaching over 49,000 0-4 year olds per week through their network of 56 franchises based all over the globe as their Head of Operations Pools and Estates.

Through my local authority experience of operating large leisure facilities and the demands of Water Babies franchisees trying to access pool space to deliver their lessons my knowledge of pool facilities as a whole is in my humble opinion second to none! And the sole purpose of the “Pool Oracle” service is to support and advise operators in existing facilities and those organisations or individuals thinking of constructing their own facilities on the most practical and financially viable means of achieving their goals!

I am also a Senior Pool Plant Tutor with the STA (Safety Training Awards) and a technical member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) - Tech IOSH. So whatever advice or information you receive from the “Pool Oracle” you can be assured that it’s come not only from someone with a wealth of experience in his field but that it’s also supported by recognised professional organisations of which I am a member!
